Helmut Wagner is the Owner of H. Wagner + Partners GmbH (LLC). After 36 years of experience working for international companies, Helmut launched his own company. He worked in various Management Positions in Operational Auditing, Logistics, Sourcing/ Procurement (CPO) and finally managed a global Business Unit of a large Speciality Chemical Company. The right combination of a solid network, friends, colleagues, and his broad experience in international business and trade, he decided to support selected companies from China and India to enter the Western Markets. In addition he works for International Consulting Companies. He firmly believes long term proven confidence is the base to create successful business.
On a given day, he’s handling email correspondence, conducting research, attending client meetings, meeting with investors, and has regular contacts with his Indian and Chinese partners. Over the span of 36 years working as a General Manager, he gained invaluable cultural and international experience. It is his goal and vision to become an intermediary between cultures. Helmut is especially skilled in the sourcing of chemicals, procurement, logistics, paper and textile industries and cultural perspectives.
Helmut studied General Management from the University St. Gallen (HSG), where he graduated with a master’s degree. In 2017, he finished advanced studies for board effectiveness and compliance also at the University St. Gallen (HSG).
As a retired Lieutenant Colonel, he is member of a foundation council for Soldiers with Financial Difficulties and a member of the Alumni of the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He is also a member of a committee to audit the finances of his local town. He credits his success to having persistence, and giving attention to important details without losing the big picture. He has a wide knowledge base of various cultures and speaks fluent English, French, German and the Swiss dialect.
In his spare time he enjoys sports, hiking, skiing, and biking in his some country of Switzerland.
