The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Ann L. Dery
Ann L. Dery is a recognized Global Corporate Travel professional and most recently held the position of Global Head, Travel Operations at Teva Pharmaceuticals, an Israeli founded multinational pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets generic and branded pharmaceuticals for human and veterinary purposes, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and other medical products. Working in her capacity as the Global Head of Travel Operations, she and her team restructured and consolidated the company’s Global Travel Program in 44 countries from a standardization perspective focusing on operations, policy, procedures, technology and traveler security.
With a broad skill set and background, Ann began her career in the legal sector, but transitioned into the Corporate Travel industry and Business Management. During her 9-year career at Teva, Ann was able to optimize and expand the Global Travel services platform while participating on several cross-functional team projects with Finance, Shared Services, HR, Communications and Employee Mobility that not only enhanced the company’s expense reporting capabilities and payment solution services but also created a Travel communication strategy and assisted in improved efficiencies and significant cost-driven savings. She was also responsible for the realignment of the Travel supplier relationships and improved aggregation of Global Travel reporting and analytics.
Ann holds a B.A in Political Science from Rutgers University, and credits much of her success to her strong, positive and collaborative work ethic in combination with meticulous attention to detail, solid strategic and critical thinking, outstanding presentation and communication skills especially to the C-suite and demonstrated analytical acumen. She is the recipient of the Global Business Travel Association’s (GBTA) 2016 Masters Honors Travel Professional Award, in addition to being a certified Global Leadership Professional by the Wharton School of Business in collaboration with the GBTA and is a member and past President of the GBTA New Jersey chapter and Women in Travel network.
A resident of Livingston, New Jersey, Ann is regularly invited to speak on Global Corporate Travel topics. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, entertaining and the great outdoors.
