Dr. Daniel Gignac is the General Manager of Christina River Enterprises, a site, civil and logistics services company serving the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Alberta since 1987. With over 25 years of experience in operations, management and leadership, Daniel is a well-rounded executive, seasoned in planning, logistics and project management. He oversees operations across all divisions and companies which comprise Christina River Enterprises, and has implemented cost saving initiative and strategic planning to allow the company to thrive even as the oil field services industry face a downturn.
 
With a broad background and skillset, Daniel is uniquely positioned as a senior executive for the technical and social requirements of leadership. After earning a Resource Drilling Diploma in Drilling and Blasting from Sir Sandford Fleming College, he went on to complete studies in Business and Corporate Communications at Loyalist College. He became a certified Occupational Health and Safety Professional through IAPA, and completed his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Trinity International University. Continuing his studies, he earned a Master of Divinity in Theological and Ministerial Studies from Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Theology/Theological Studies with A+ Highest Honors at Missionary Chapel and Seminary.
 
Outside of running Christina River Enterprises, Daniel devotes time and effort to Voice of the Martyrs, a global charitable organization focusing on the plight of families where the father has passed and left a wife and children behind. He resides in Fort McMurray, Canada, where he continues to make an impact as an executive with a keen business sense and a warm heart.
