The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes David Gilbert

David Gilbert is a highly experienced technology educator with extensive knowledge in Curriculum development and exceptional communication skills, currently serving as an Educational Consultant and Workshop Leader for global education foundation The International Baccalaureate, and as an Educational Consultant for MYP Technology Educational Consultancy, where he runs online training courses for teachers, face to face training for teachers, determines accreditation, leads workshops and consults on site or online. With a true ardor for education, David stays abreast of changes in his field as an active member of educational and IB professional organizations.
 
After graduating from the City and Guilds of London with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, David went on to earn his PGCE in Design and Technology Education from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a Graduate Baccalaureate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Oxford Brookes University. Before assuming his current positions, David began his career as an engineer working with post graduates and research teams at numerous universities such as Oxford University and the University College of North Wales, and was a part of the team developing the invention of the LED. Amidst this work, David fell in love with teaching, and has remained a dedicated educator. Ever moving forward, David is eager to next break into the US consulting market. He is a member of the IEEE and the Institute of Electronic Technology.
 
In addition to his work, David is an active advocate for Education and Children’s Welfare in his community, and acts as a Leader/Assessor of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award from Bronze through Gold.  He currently resides in Malvern, UK, but is available to relocate anywhere.
