Ferlein Gonzalez Aguilar, former President of UPSISTEMAS SAS, is an electronics engineer with training and experience in senior management, direction and project management of high corporate impact at national and multinational levels. UPSISTEMAS is a Colombian company that provides infrastructure integration solutions technology with high quality standards. With over 25 years of presence in the corporate market, UPSISTEMAS is known for their developing innovative solutions in energy infrastructure, evidenced in over 2,000 trusted relationships with national and multinational companies, including Eaton, Stulz, Bard, Fike and others highly recognized for their quality.
 
Within this recent role, Ferlein was responsible for strategic commercial, technical and operational vision of the company within the short, medium and long term ensuring the company’s competitiveness in a global economy and the assurance of revenue and profitability. During 2015, he secured income in excess of $67 billion, gross margin of 32%, Ebitda greater than 15%, and a net income in excess of $2 billion. He ensures the board has the necessary information to properly exercise their responsibilities by providing information relevant to the operation of the company, and alternative and / or action plans for maintenance, growth and consolidation of the business. He just concluded this important professional cycle during this month of July and he is ready to face new challenges on his field of knowledge and expertise.
 
Ferlein has a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the Javeriana University of Colombia with advance executive management studies at North Western University, Kellogg Graduate School of management, IL, USA and also at INADE ( Instituto de Alta Direccion Empresarial) at Universidad de la Sabana, Bogotá, Colombia  . He is affiliated with Engineers Association of Colombia and CCIT ( Camara Colombiana de Informática y telecomunicaciones). He is fluent in Spanish and English and is former officer of the Colombian Navy professional officers. His success is due to familial support, hard work, determination, strong work ethics, and honesty.  He resides in Bogota, Colombia.
