Francois-Xavier LOUIS is Managing Director at GE Capital. He is a financially savvy engineer, who applies sales and learning skills to build boundary-less, multi-skills horizontal organizations, which attract and retain talent, deliver through innovation and creativity, and execute in project mode.
 
Francois is responsible for optimizing asset and infrastructure performance in multiple countries, engaging skills, technologies and information from partnering companies. He is also responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of day-to-day activities. Particular accomplishments include originating and closing a 10-year engine MRO agreement for the AF GE90 engine fleet, and positioning GEIT as the first NDT player in global airshows (Le Bourget, Farnborough, Beijing).

Having distinguished interpersonal skills & an uncanny ability to positively motivate those around him, Francois continues to see success in a variety of endeavors. He has delivered a 1 Billion USD industrial project across a multi-partners matrix team, and led heavily regulated and integrated business units with double-digit growth, created demand for business as a service with 10 year repeat cash stream, and restructured businesses with neither talent nor social adverse impact.
 
He holds a Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering & Turbomachines from the Institut supérieur de l’aéronautique et de l’espace (ISAE), and École nationale supérieure d’ingénieurs de constructions aéronautiques (ENSICA). He is a member and president of the APM St. James Club – Association for the Progress of Management. In his spare time, he enjoys music and is a pianist, organist and a private pilot. He resides in Paris, France. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and has conversational level in Italian and Portuguese.
