The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Helmut H. Gansel

Helmut Gaensel is the retired President and CEO of Gaensel Mining & Energy, an international leader in energy and resource production and refinement. With over 35 years of experience at the helm of the company, he is an established public figure and has traveled all over the world for the development and expansion of his business.

Having worked his way from the ground up—literally—in a uranium mine under the Soviet regime, Helmut worked his way up the ranks to become a leading executive. He is an expert in all aspects of mining and distributing uranium, gold, silver and other minerals, and has overseen major mining projects in several countries across South America.

With a flair for adventure, earlier in his career Helmut became a renowned Nazi treasure hunter, worked with several government agencies, and also served in the Czech army. Having moved on from running Gaensel Mining & Energy in 2013, today Helmut puts his energy towards public speaking, media and news engagement, and other industry events. He wrote the books Prague Connection 1 and 2, which are currently under negotiation to be adapted into movies, and his work has also been featured in numerous newspapers, journals and publications.

Helmut credits his success to having never given up and to always believing that with perseverance, he could achieve anything. A resident of the Czech Republic, he has traveled to over 86 different countries. Outside of his busy creative and professional pursuits, he enjoys spending time with his children.
