The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Karen Fitz Ritson

 
Karen Fitz Ritson is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Fitz Ritson and Associates, a professional training institute specializing in managerial and financial programs to fill the gap in technical areas across business services mainly in the financial sector. With over 27 years of financial practice, Karen and her associates have trained more than 2,000 candidates through her program, seeing a short-term conversion rate of 72% to attained upward mobility in their professional paths.
 
A financial analyst, Karen previously managed individual and corporate portfolios, as well as insurance funds and unit trusts in her home country of Jamaica and positioned these funds to perform in the top five percent percentile in Jamaica. This experience has always helped her to guide the Fitz Ritson and Associates institution to translate their service to the bottom line for her clients and their businesses. By establishing the first accredited professional training institution in Jamaica, Karen put herself on the map as a trailblazer and serves as a role model to women in business and entrepreneurs in the financial sector.
 
After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from Florida International University, Karen went on to complete an Executive Master of Business Administration from the same University. Karen has received numerous honors and awards for her contribution to the business sector and her community at-large, including Rotarian of the Year and Recognition for Outstanding Dedication and Services by the Rotary Club of St. Andrew, as well as numerous certificates of appreciation and gratitude for her work toward literacy and childhood development.
 
Karen speaks fluent English and Spanish, and is proud to have helped individuals and businesses turn around from ailing to generating measurable growth and progress. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, loves music and her dogs.
