Kulen has led operations, marketing and design teams across North America, Asia and the Middle East in diverse industry sectors breaking new frontiers and forging a distinct innovative approach that he defines as the “Eye like Factor” – where business is driven by connecting aesthetics and visual appeal to functionality and market needs.
He helmed North American furniture solutions system giant Teknion Corporation’s drive to become a global player across Asia’s fast growing markets and the discerning Middle East markets, as its Managing Director for Asia.
He thinks beyond the finite and has pioneered and been instrumental in the development of international art, music and design festivals in many countries including the Bangkok Design Festival and supported creative ventures like the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai – seeing a symmetry between creative elan and industrial excellence.
