The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Malu Milan
Typically reporting directly to the Chief Information Officers and CTO’s in Fortune 100’s and CEO of her consulting firm prior to Pepsico and Microsoft, Malu’s position primarily focuses on driving forward the internal operational improvements of large organizations and services in an “internal consultant model” that is efficient and responsive while meeting demand with quality talent and support at the lowest possible cost. Her passion is being an Effective Digital Transformation Leader at scale.
Prior to Microsoft Malu worked for Pepsico, where she headed up Solution Engineering Services & Shared International IT Capabilities Delivery, as well as being the Head of Centralization and the creation of International Common Value Added IT services portfolio. Prior to Pepsico, she owned her own consulting company- which is still a success today. Her experience as Chief Technology Leader Specializing in Disaster Recovery, IT Simplification, IT Cost Savings Strategies, Supplier Sourcing Strategies, Cross-Boundary Collaboration and Culture of Quality and Digital Change, to name a few, poised her for leadership roles within industry. Malu holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Everest University in South Orlando and a B.S in Telecommunications Management from Barry University. One of her proudest moments is receiving a nomination award from HENAAC in 2009 and Professional Achievement Latino Award from Motorola. Malu is thrilled to join the professional network and looks forward to sharing expertise with other like-minded business professionals.
When not working Malu enjoys diving, volunteerism with other charitable organizations such as SHPE Puget Sound a Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers as VP of Strategy. She is a Master Six Sigma Black Belt and coach, and also an active champion of education and NPH who adopts thousands of unprivileged children in Latin America. She resides in Carnation, Washington.
