Michael T. Hone is the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Physiotherapy Associates, a national operator of outpatient rehabilitation clinics offering physical, occupational, hand and speech therapy services, in addition to orthotics and prosthetics. Using a holistic approach and viewing wellness as a journey, Physiotherapy Associates specializes in sports performance enhancement and workplace injury prevention, in addition to their rehabilitation services. With over 25 years of executive leadership experience, Michael is a transformative organizational expert. He serves as the leader for the FP&A department, overseeing the traditional finance, field controlling team, Director of Operations and financial support to business development. He also reengineered the field incentive plan designs, saving Physiotherapy Associates more than $1.2 million in annual costs, and refinanced the company’s debt, saving them more than $5 million in annual interest costs.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fairfield University, Michael completed independent coursework in Accounting to further hone his skills. Diverse in his skill-set, he has worked for top companies across a range of industries, including CVS, Macy’s, QVC and BIMBO Bakeries USA. His understanding of healthcare, baking, retail and e-commerce needs made him tailor-suited to stands as the forward thinking financial innovator for Physiotherapy Associates, where he has served for the last 5 and a half years.
Michael credits his success to performing well under pressure tight deadlines, as well as his reputation for trustworthiness amongst his fellow senior colleagues and the teams he leads. He has left a positive value and legacy at all his former posts, and seeks to connect with financial professionals to share his knowledge and expertise.
Michael and his wife are based out of West Chester, Pennsylvania, where they have raised 3 children.
