Ole Gerkensmeyer currently serves as Managing Director for Future Electronics Deutschland GmbH, as well as Regional Sales Director Central Europe for Future Electronics, a leading global distributor of electronic components, based in Montreal and operating across 42 countries. With over 18 years of experience in information technology and engineering, Ole is a consummate business leader who can drive sales and use innovative thinking to develop new marketing strategies that meet the needs of key global accounts.
 
After earning a master’s degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in Communication Engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover in 1993, Ole launched his career as an ASIC Application Engineer for Texas Instruments. Rising quickly up the ranks, he enjoyed an impressive 17-year tenure as Texas Instruments, before joining Future Electronics in 2015.
 
Ole’s primary focus is on long term, sustainable and diversified business growth. He credits his success to a passion for his field and an enthusiasm that has carried him through. He resides in Bavaria, Germany, and speaks English, German and French. In his spare time, Ole serves as a pastor and choir music conductor.
