The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Rene Medeiros

 
Rene Medeiros is the Commercial Manager of the Brazil Market for Songz Automobile Air Conditioning Company, a Shanghai-based joint-stock company specialized in the research and development, manufacturing, and marketing of vehicle air-conditioning systems. With more than 20 years of experience in technical and strategic sales for multinational companies in the automotive, construction and agricultural machinery sectors, Rene is responsible for new market development and business management, as well as key account management for global customers. He also leads the sales team and sales engineers, focusing on B2B and import/export logistics.
 
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from the Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba, Rene went on to complete a Master of Business Administration from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Prior to joining Songz in August 2016, He was the OEM Commercial Manager for Spal do Brasil, where he served as the interface between the engineering, financial, production, supply chain, administrative and import/export departments. He has held several executive positions; including senior buyer at TRW, commercial engineer at Ron Brasil, partner at R2M Consultoria e Gestão, and outsourced manufacturing engineer and new product development at Spal do Brasil.
 
Rene resides in Campinas, Brazil and speaks fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese. He is a member of the labor union SAE Brasil, and enjoys automobile racing and bicycling in his spare time.
