Roman Firsanov, Senior Director Group Maintenance & Utilities at Carlsberg Supply Company AG, is steadfast in his leadership abilities and highly knowledgeable in the areas of operational management, technology management, business administration, international relations, and client management. At Carlsberg, some of his main responsibilities include overseeing all maintenance and utilities for the 4th largest beer manufacturer in the world. He makes sure all maintenance, overall strategy, and customization at a regional basis runs smoothly and efficiently.
Roman is the owner of the Utilities processes, including HVAC, thermal energy, industrial and district heating, refrigeration, steam generation, water and wastewater treatment, compressed air, and CO2 recovery. He tracks the utility KPIs (energy consumption, water consumption, CO2 emission factor, waste water /water ratio, etc.), and drives equipment standardization and new technologies. Roman is an architect of the Carlsberg Group strategy for Maintenance and Utilities, and works deploying said strategy down to the shop floor level.
When he isn’t hard at work with Carlsberg, he enjoys reading, running, cycling, hiking, and playing guitar. Roman holds a MBA in Management and Economics from The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and lives in Horgen, Switzerland.
