The International Society of Business Leaders Recognizes Saverio Barbera

 
Saverio Barbera is the Associate Vice President of Capgemini, a multinational management consulting corporation and one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services. With over 25 years of experience, Saverio is sought by clients and colleagues for his unprecedented expertise on program and project management, international business relations, and management consulting.
 
Although his family encouraged him to pursue a career in engineering, Saverio was inspired to go into the consulting profession after reading Lee Iacocca’s Iacocca: An Autobiography. After nearly four years at California State University Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, Saverio went on to receive a BS in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Before assuming his current role at Capgemini, Saverio served as Material Requirements Supervisor at Hughes, Production and Material Control Manager at New Bedford Panoramex Inc, Business Area Leader at Interstate Electronics Corporation, Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, Senior Manager and West Supply Chain Leader at Capgemini, Senior Director of ISC Global Client Management at Keane, and Associate VP of GE Consulting at IGATE Technologies.
 
Frequently lauded for his work, Saverio was the recipient of an award for Delivery Excellence at Capgemini, and for Superior Performance at Hughes. He attributes his success to being humble, exercising common sense, observing, and an insatiable hunger to learn. His favorite scripture is James 1:19: “quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.” Moving forward, Saverio plans to sharpen his professional tools, continue to better himself and to run a global consulting practice.
 
In addition to his work, Saverio serves on the Elders Board and volunteers as Sanctuary Director at The Refuge Church of the West Valley. He currently resides in Surprise, Arizona, and is fluent in English and Italian. In his spare time, Saverio plays golf and spends quality time with his wife, three daughters and eight grandchildren.
