Yvonne Angel has dedicated her career to reinventing traditional education paradigms. The founding Director of Edu Ya! Yvonne acts as an educational consultant in several schools in Panama City to provide teachers and school administrators with current practices in education to reach the needs of their students and be competent in their field. Always breaking new ground, she had her first conference in January for school directors in leadership and current trends in education for teachers. In conjunction with this she held the first meeting in October to create a network of teachers that are able to share their experiences and methodology in the classroom and to provide professional development on current practices. Teachers from thirteen private schools and universities attended to discuss the implementation of project-based learning.

She holds a Master of Education from Framingham State College and a Bachelor of Education from the University of South Carolina. She combines her academic knowledge with years of hands on experience, having started her career as an Elementary School Teacher. From there she held various senior positions in the education system including but not limited to: Elementary School Director at the Instituto Alberto Einstein; Instructional Coach at Colegio Real de Panama and Consultant for the Panamerican School.
